Hwasun ethnography hyanggyo Jirak – Born in Hwasun

This is the fifth episode of Hwasun ethnography hyanggyo Jirak, which is based on ‘Pansori national singer-songwriter from Hwasun’.

Today’s lecturer is Jae-myung Roh, director of the Korean Traditional Music Museum. Since he was a lecturer from the metropolitan area, the lecture was conducted only after he tested negative for the corona virus. The Korean music museum is a little unfamiliar to me. Then, as I listened to Director Roh Jae-myung, a feeling of embarrassment crossed my mind that I too had lived with distorted information beyond the ignorance of our voices.

Director Noh Jae-myung has been interested in Korean traditional music since his sophomore year in high school. Then, in July 2001, at his own expense, he opened the current Gugak Archives and is known as a ‘scholar of Gugak’ in the world of traditional music. He is a great man who has done a lot of historically valuable work, such as giving oral interviews over a long period of time and creating material about individuals.

About Seongwoo-hyang master singer

Seongwoo-hyang master singer was born in 1933 in Gyoji, Hwasun-gun, into a prestigious family of traditional music.

His first teacher, Seong Cha-ok, was a master pansori master and a master of Jeongga and flute, and his cousin Seong Cha-ok’s son Seong Gu-bong was also a master pansori master.

His cousin Seonggyehyang is also known as a master of pansori and gayageum, and his cousin Seonggeumhyang and Junanhyang, a cousin of King Gojong, are also known as masters of pansori.

It is said that Hwasun produced many masters of traditional music, and in the 1970s, popular music in this area was called traditional music. The Koreans said that it is difficult to build an environment for the birth and early education of children with musical talents by artificial means such as investing huge budgets today.

It is said that the singer-songwriter was active enough to record an album in his mid-20s, and completed Shimcheongga for the first time in 1976. He was active in Boseong Sori, which he learned under Jeong Eung-min, among the studies of various nationalities.

The term ‘Boseongsori’ is a compilation of the solid pansori inherited by master singer Jeong Eung-min when he was young, and is a generic term for the sounds made by honing his entire life. However, the famous singer Jeong Eung-min stopped performing on the central stage and hid in Boseong, Jeollanam-do, to hear the rumors and learn about the voices of his juniors. Among many students, Eung-Min Jeong is rated as the best, and Seong-Woo-Hyang’s master singer is the one who modified and arranged the notes inherited from his master accordingly.

1. What is Zen Therapy?

Zen means “line.” It had the meaning of meditation, meditation, and stillness. The trainee who trains this has a direction to calm down the complex mind and to reach a certain level by unifying the mind.

Basically, Zen is the process of answering the question, “What is human?” The question is, “Who am I?It leads to, and to answer this question, we use either gastropods looking at ourselves or meditation, or Singing Ball meditation, which helps us quickly become deep relaxation.

2. What Zen Therapy Gives to Trainees

When you train Zen, you’re no longer fooled. You may not be engulfed in overlaid illusions or other situations. Through pre-treatment, you can see through the illusion and face the true reality, not the situation. This is all because they found me.

When you see the Buddha meditating, how do you feel? Can you feel the small smile, the silence, and the tranquility? Jen’s trainee discovers deeper roots of anxiety, stress, and pain during the training process. Then, you gradually find your true self, “I,” and move on to a comfortable state.

Exito de público e agrupacións musicais na II Ruada de Terra de Montes

A Asociación Verbo Xido celebra estes días o éxito por partida dobre. O sábado 26 de febreiro foi un éxito de asistencia de público (unhas 250 persoas) e de participación de grupos musicais de Terra de Montes e da contorna (máis de 12) que prolongou a Ruada benéfica a prol do CETMo (Centro Etnográfico de Terra de Montes), celebrada no Salón Avenida de Soutelo ata as 5 h. da madrugada, contribuíndo deste xeito a difundir e impulsar a música galega. Ademais, ese mesmo día confirmábase a concesión por parte do Concello de Forcarei dunha axuda para o funcionamento do CETMo de 1000 €, con cargo ao orzamento de 2010, que xa foran debidamente xustificados pola nosa asociación, e outra axuda pola mesma cantidade para o presente ano 2011. No nome de todos os membros da Asociación Verbo Xido.

Queremos agradecer públicamente a xenerosa colaboración das agrupacións musicais que nos acompañaron na Ruada, ás persoas que acodaron a colaborar económicamente e á Corporación Municipal de Forcarei por esta nova contribución para un mellor futuro do CETMo.

II Ruada de Terra de Montes

Verbo Xido está a organizar, para o vindeiro 26 de febreriro, unha ruada solidaria co fin de recadar fondos para axudar a sufragar as obras de rehabilitación do Centro Etnográfico de Soutelo de Montes rematadas hai una ano e con algúnha contiña pendent aínda.

Agardamos organizar unha velada inesquecible coa presenza de todos os grupos musicais da bisbarra maís algún chegado de outras terras.

Daquí a uns días darémosvos información máis precisa con todo o elenco estelar que amenizará tan festiva ocasión, pero mentras ide marcando nas vosas axendas o 26 de febreiro para vir de farra.

Novos horizontes para o CETMo

O Centro Etnográfico da Terra de Montes emprazado en Soutelo de Montes, Concello de Forcarei, toma un novo impulso coa recente eleción na asemblea da Asociación VERBO XIDO, realizada o pasado 3 de xullo, dun Consello de Dirección presidido por Gumersindo Guinarte Cabada. Gumersindo Guinarte Cabada, natural de Castrelo, asume así o reto decidido pola Asociación e dado a coñecer no editorial do Boletín nº 24 de VERBO XIDO (Febreiro 2010) de que “o CETMO abra novas vías de diálogo coas institución locais e aposte polo traballo en rede cunha xestión máis profesionalizada e con cometidos máis ambiciosos“. Así o manifestaba o novo presidente da entidade ao tempo que engadía “ata agora o CETMO estaba tutelado polo colectivo social VERBO XIDO que realizou un traballo extraordinario tanto na mellora e posta en valor do edificio que alberga a colección etnográfica como na promoción e difusión da cultura de Terra de Montes. O novo equipo, temos por diante un reto ilusionante pero ambicioso que esperamos levar a cabo“.

A decisión de apostar por un equipo rector para o Centro Etnográfico foi tomada na devandita asemblea da asociación VERBO XIDO na que se acordou que o Museo, que alberga máis de 800 pezas e unha importante biblioteca/arquivo, debía contar cun equipo de profesionais destacados que aporten os seus coñecementos e centren o seu traballo na posta en valor e na xestión do propio CETMO, con autonomía da asociación. Este equipo está composto por:

– Presidente: Gumersindo Guinarte Cabada, natural de Castrelo, profesor de Dereito da Universidade de Santiago, con ampla experiencia en xestión e relacións institucionais tras desempeñar cargos como secretario xeral da Universidade de Santiago, Vicevaledor do Pobo e Secretario xeral da Presidencia do goberno de Emilio Pérez Touriño.

– Vicepresidente: Alfredo González Ruibal, con orixe en Soutelo de Montes, fundador do Centro Etnográfico e impulsor do proxecto que permitíu que a colección de pezas que alí se atopa sexa unha das máis completas de Galicia. Na actualidade Alfredo González, licenciado en historia, compaxina a súa labor de investigador do CSIC con misións arqueolóxicas en Europa do Leste e Africa.

– Secretaria: Concha Otero Alonso, natural de Sanguñedo, profesora de educación secundaria en Vigo e defensora activa do medio ambiente e o desenvolvemento sostible do medio rural.

– Vogais:

Dionisio Pereira, residente en Cerdedo, historiador con recoñecidas publicacións sobre os movementos sociais en Galicia; coordinador da provincia de Pontevedra no Proxecto Interuniversitario “As Vítimas, Nomes e Voces”. Experto en cultura e patrimonio marítimo; é membro do Consello Asesor do Museo do Mar de Galicia.

Luís Gil Pita, con orixe en Cerdedo, arquitecto de profesión. Redactor de diversos inventarios de patrimonio arquitectónico e etnográfico e con experiencia en rehabilitacións e proxectos expositivos.

Beatriz García González, natural de Avila, Museóloga e Consultora cultural e directora da empresa “e-burbulla”.

Francisco Vieitez Cendón, natural de Soutelo de Montes, empresario do sector da cultura e a comunicación e asesor cultural.

Ademáis formará parte deste Consello de Dirección a persoa que desempeñe na Xunta Directiva da Asociación VERBO XIDO o cargo do tesoureiro/a.

Nos próximos días, este equipo reunirase para realizar unha proposta de traballo a medio prazo, mentres de xeito inmediato o presidente Gumersindo Guinarte centrarase en contactar coas institucións locais, tanto concellos, como colectivos para presentar este novo proxecto que segundo el mesmo manifesta “quere ante todo ser un proxecto integrador e aberto, no que contemos coa maior participación social posible e que contribúa a xerar unha oferta cultural ampla e de calidade en Terra de Montes“.

Mentres tanto, a Asociación VERBO XIDO agarda a resolución favorable da subvención solicitada ao abeiro do programa LEADER, a través do GDR 20, no que a Asociación desempeña a Secretaría na Comisión Permanente, para poder mellorar e actualizar o discurso museístico, tendo máis en conta a perspectiva de xénero, a utilización das NTIC´s e o traballo en rede con outros colectivos da comarca.

Ruada solidaria en Soutelo de Montes

O pasado sábado 23 de Xaneiro, Verbo Xido celebrou unha Ruada solidaria para recadar fondos cos que contribuir a sufragar a rehabilitación do Centro Etnográfico de Terra de Montes.

Tivo lugar no salón do Restaurante Avenida de Soutelo de Montes, con servizo de bar e “catering” a fin de recadar fondos (tamén se cobrou unha pequena entrada para contribuir á finalidade do evento, que dará dereito a participar nun sorteo dun lote de libros e un lote de productos ecolóxicos, ademáis de quentar o bandullo con chiculate con rosca).

Reapertura do CETMo

A Asociación Ecoloxista e Cultural de Terra de Montes VERBO XIDO ten o inmenso orgullo de estrear de novo o Centro Etnográfico de Soutelo tras unha profunda rehabilitación e un bo lavado de cara. E para poder presumir e que todos poiderades ver o estupendo novo aspecto da nosa sede tras este “lifting” outonal, quixémosvos convidar a un acto de reinauguración que organizamos para o sábado 26 de decembro.

Tratouse dun sinxelo acto que contou coa presenza do alcalde de Forcarei e o anterior director xeral de Cultura da Xunta de Galizate, aos que se lles dirixíu unhas verbas de agradecemento pola súa colaboración neste proxecto ao augardente; tras o cal se servíu un pequeno ágape servido polo colectivo A Hortiña da Ponte, todo ilo amenizado pola música dos Terribles de Castrodiz.

Obras de rehabilitación no CETMo

O 5 de agosto de 2009, a Asociación VERBO XIDO puxo a “segunda pedra” dunha das súas máis acariñadas iniciativas, a mellora integral do edificio do CETMo. O vello inmóbel, localizado no camiño do Pouso nº 2, na aldea de Soutelo (Forcarei), gorece a máis completa colección etnográfica da bisbarra. Aínda así, só o esforzo altruísta de Verbo Xido, especialmente a porfía de Lola Varela, secretaria do GDR 20, propiciou esta morna alborada nunha terra sumida nas tebras do neofeudalismo.

UNHA NOVA XEIRA PARA O CETMO (Soutelo de Montes )

No mes de agosto comezaron as obras que permitirán realizar no Centro Etnográfico de Terra de Montes (CETMO) as reformas necesarias para solicitar a catalogación de colección visitable, a conceder pola Dirección Xeral de Patrimonio da Xunta de Galicia.

A subvención concedida por AGADER para estas melloras non é suficiente e polo tanto pedimos a colaboración de todas aquelas persoas interesadas en darlle unha nova vida ao CETMO, único Centro Etnográfico da bisbarra.

Co remate das obras queremos crear co apoio de veciños e entidades a “Fundación Terra de Montes”, co seu correspondente Padroado para xestionar o futuro do CETMO e as súas actividades.
